I was very pleased today to learn that both of my photos I submitted to the 36th Elkhart Juried Regional Art Exhibition were accepted. I’m honored to again be a part of such a great exhibition. The Juried Regional will be open from Oct 10 – Dec 7. at the Midwest Museum of American Art, 429 South Main St. Elkhart IN. Please be sure to visit the Midwest Regional and view all the great art!
“Silage Harvest” is a recent aerial photo that I’ve made into a black and white print. The actual photo size is 17″ x 10.8″ which is printed on Hot Press Bright paper with archival inks, acid free matte and conservation glass. This inside an 18″ x 24″ black metal frame. Limited to 15 prints!
See it at Rachel’s Bread, at the Goshen Farmer’s Market.

Today's editing software allows for manipulation of photos well into the realm of the ridiculous. That said, post-production editing is an important aspect of the photography process. When done right, editing can make photos look more like how we see the world with our own eyes.
Slight photo enhancements are okay but fakes are not.
