Music School Audition Video

Are you needing to submit a video audition to a music school?    If so, I can help.  Stuart Meade Photography offers video with great sounding audio for your submission as required by many college music school’s admissions process including  IU’s Jacobs School of Music and many others.

I offer a three perspective shoot using full-frame DSLR cameras shot in high definition.    The audio is captured using a Rhode NT1 mic and tube mic amplifier.   All three video files are synced-up, edited in Premiere Pro .  The final, exported video (1280 x 720 HP) in H-260, MP4 format (approximately 600-700 megs) will be delivered to you via a Drop-Box link.   My current pricing for the final edited video is $500-600.   A sample two-camera shoot video is available upon request.    Contact me in Goshen at 574-215-9289 for detials

Self Portrait

For many photographers (including me) a self portrait is a painful lesson in humility.  I take photos of people, so I know all too well that being a model comes easier for some people than others.  Putting myself in front of the lens, even when the camera is set to automatically take photos,  allows me to experience some of these feelings and insecurities that can hinder or even ruin photos.   Taking selfies in my own studio seems indulgent but also provides a good experience for me and helps me grow as a photographer.

My Photo Philosophy

Today's editing software allows for manipulation of photos well into the realm of the ridiculous. That said, post-production editing is an important aspect of the photography process. When done right, editing can make photos look more like how we see the world with our own eyes.

Slight photo enhancements are okay but fakes are not.
